Breaktime/ The Wind Will Carry Us – Abbas Kiarostami

Breaktime synopsis:
When the break time bell rings, young Dara leaves school; he has been sent home as a punishment for breaking a window with his football. On his way home he comes across some other boys playing a game of football, and cannot resist joining in; he ends up by annoying them, and they chase him away. Dara gets lost and tries to find his way home through unknown streets, which lead him to the outskirts of the city.

The Wind Will Carry Us synopsis:
A group of journalists and production engineers arrive in a Kurdish village to document the locals’ mourning rituals anticipating the death of an elderly woman, but she remains alive. The main engineer is forced to slow down and appreciate the lifestyle of the village. He who stayed at the village with great enthusiasm for the burial of the old woman finds nothing interesting in the ceremony at the end.
