Wherever communities of deaf people exist, sign languages develop. Their complex spatial grammars are markedly different from the grammars of spoken languages and hundreds of sign languages are in use around the world and are at the cores of local Deaf cultures.
You are invited to participate in a two day sign language workshop at Beirut theatre to learn the basics of Arabic sign language. All proceeds will be donated to Disable Group to fund their next theatre project.
