Walid Nahas – Solo Piano Concerto – ‘Immersion’ Album Launch

Trained as a classical pianist, Walid Nahas works as a songwriter in various Montreal groups. But it is all his years playing at piano bars that allowed him to develop the art of improvisation and stand out with his unique style of composition.
The piano is an instrument of Walid’s choice allowing his mind to wander. Each key on the piano evokes an image, a thought, a feeling. As he runs his fingers over the keys we plunge into a unique atmosphere where the music, perceptions and sensations unite to the point of immersion. Hence the album’s name.
The album ‘Immersion’ brings you a series of piano compositions , totaling in 12 pieces composed and performed by Walid in the style of Chopin and with the flavor of Erik Satie oscillating between classical music, instrumental music and contemporary music.
