Socrate Catering

It all started in 1964 just across from the American University of Beirut. That’s when Socrate restaurant opened its doors to the greater public and brought sophistication to the food service community in Lebanon.

In 1990, Socrate opened a catering company melding traditional and modern cooking into a harmonious union. In 2012, the company built a 3,500 square meter state-of-the-art central kitchen in Jnah. Furnished with the latest kitchen equipment and machinery, the company prepares 4,000 meals there daily.

Though specialized in traditional Lebanese cuisine, Socrate offers a wide variety of European, Exotic and Asian plates with options including buffet, self service or seated dinners. The catering service also offers a variety of French and Oriental pastries and cakes.
