BIPOD 2011: The Arab Dance Platform 2nd Edition

The solo “A Line Between Two Squares” (working title) is an autobiographic work and based on the attempt of the choreographer and dancer to reconnect her origins. As the daughter of an Austrian mother and a Lebanese father, but having grown up in Austria, she tries to explore and to find deeper understanding of her Lebanese half.

Yendi Nammour – Takween Collective –
Doosa Juu (Lebanon/Austria/France) :
Yendi Nammour studied contemporary dance at the Conservatory of Vienna (Austria) and at the CDC (Center for Choreographic Development) Toulouse;she was also a student of Takween Beirut Contemporary Dance School. She has worked with choreographers such as Virginia Heinen, Christine Fricker, Zéline Zonzon, Marco Berrettini, Anne Le Batard and has recently started her own research as a young choreographer.
