From Apr 14 to Apr 23, 2011
10:00am -> 7:00pm
Zamaan Gallery

George Geadah started drawing at the age of four. Geadah’s work has an obvious inspiration from the international artist Paul Guiragossian and he’s following his frameworks.

Geadah is characterized by rapid and uncontrollable eye movement. His condition is associated with Hypermyopia (extreme nearsightedness), Cone Dystrophy (causing color blindness), and Astigmatism. He is also Photophobic. He sees people and objects much smaller than they normally appear and needs to use high-powered magnifiers to read or work on his art. Living in a politically turbulent environment has influenced his artwork. He consciously utilize art as a mechanism to cope psychologically and to express universal ideals. Beyond the aesthetic, art for him is an existential necessity and a perpetual state of self-actualization.

Special Formula:The opening of the exhibition will take place at the 14th of April at 18:00
