Expeditors International

Expeditors is much more than getting a piece of freight from one point to another. The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals defines logistics as that part of the supply chain process that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption in order to meet customers’ requirements.
Their job is to make sure that from raw material to finished goods sitting on the retail shelf, they provide the critical services and information necessary to give their clients a competitive advantage in the management of their supply chains.
