About Music Fanzine
Music Fanzine is a flashback, a tribute to the long-gone era when paper and xerox were the only way to spread a particular cultural phenomenon.
Using the medium of the fanzine, Karine Wehbe and Basile Ghosn try to recreate an emotional state of mind that is particularly vivid during adolescence : fandom, and the various ways in which one identifies with favorite bands and musicians.

Music Fanzine strives to express different states of fandom, by inviting guests to share images of those artists and bands that marked their youth, recurring thoughts and daydreams, and a musical playlist showcasing their tastes.

It is an ode to adolescence, a particular outlook on musical obsession(s), a re-materialization of one’s personal sounds and vision, in order to turn them into palpable objects of desire.

Music Fanzine is also open to artistic collaborations, a means to blur boundaries between various forms of musical and artistic expression, and to revive a peculiar state of mind one believed to be lost or missing.
