An evening of words and beats being performed in both Arabic and English. Guest readers Lara Balaa and Edmond Haddad will perform their own poems and beats will be delivered by Soukara.
The effort in this event is to fuse or integrate words and beats old school style, both in Arabic and English. Gill Scott Heron is the pioneer of this, but we are trying it in Arabic this time. However, for the poetry purists, beats and poems will also be performed separately.
