“Marketing Your Art” will cover critical areas of arts marketing that you need to know to help you break into the larger artistic community.

Topics will include:

Part one: Artist Statement and Artist CV.
1. How to write an Artist Statement
2. Why you need an Artist Statement.
3. What the most important aspects of an artist’s statement are.
4. Compiling information for an Artistic CV.

Part two: Pricing & selling your art/ Displaying your Art.
1. Following the trends.
2. How to price your work.
3. How and where to display your work.

Part three: Internet Marketing & Social Networking.
1. Online Artist Directories
2. Paid Online Artist Listings
3. Social Networking
4. Arts Groups and Organizations
5. Personal Website
6. Link Exchange
7. Google Ad words and Pay Per Click Advertising

On completion of this segment of the workshop you will have the knowledge to start marketing your art and talents.
