Nasawiya is a group of feminists (women and men) who are working together to challenge all forms of gender oppression in Lebanon and the Arab world.

They are striving to recreate a world free from sexism and all other forms of exploitations and discrimination that go hand in hand with it: classicism, homophobia, racism, sectarianism, etc. They see all these problems as interrelated and equally oppressive, and they insist on addressing them from a progressive feminist perspective.
