Lebanon’s COVID-19 vaccine committee just announced that people aged 40 and above are now eligible for walk-in vaccinations, without any appointments. The committee also announced that those aged 45 and over would begin receiving vaccine appointments shortly.
Citizens can now show up to centers giving the AstraZeneca vaccine (such as Beirut’s Governmental Hospital, Lebanese Canadian Hospital, Sacre Coeur Hospital, etc.), show their ID, and either receive the vaccine on the spot or be given the soonest appointment available.
