Loulwa Soweid studies psychology at the American University of Beirut and cannot read your mind. In 2014, she was awarded "Writer of the Year" of Outlook, the independent AUB student newspaper, and had her first prose piece published in the Beirut Literary and Art Journal, Rusted Radishes.
She loves participating in drama and film projects, often attempts to send telepathic messages to her twin sister, and eats chocolate as often as she can.
