In anticipation of its opening in Lebanon this July, Marks & Spencer, the iconic British retail brand, held a reception featuring a fashion show at the British Ambassador’s residence in Beirut, on Monday June 10, 2013. The event was hosted by HE Mr. Tom Fletcher, and attended by a large number of distinguished guests and journalists from the various local media outlets.
During the event, the British Ambassador, HE Mr. Tom Fletcher, expressed his delight for the upcoming opening of M&S in Lebanon, saying, “Having a flagship British brand like Marks and Spencer in Beirut is great news for Lebanon and for Britain. British companies are at the heart of Beirut’s retail boom, generating confidence here and jobs at home.”
