What the New 50,000 LL Bill Could Have Looked Like

On Wednesday, local TV station LBCI tweeted an image showing the brand new redesign of the 50,000 LL bill which is expected to be released into circulation on November 22, just in time for the 70th anniversary of Lebanon’s independence. The public have not taken kindly to the new look, as many have expressed their disgust and repulsion towards it, especially graphic designers.

Indeed, the designer responsible for this visual atrocity should be ashamed of themselves. But hey, it could have been way worse! You’ll be relieved to know that after some relentless snooping, we have tracked down a scrapped unused early draft of the design (as seen below).
