Yesterday, Lebanese folk-rock group Sandmoon released a music video for the song
Walk, the second from their second album
Home, which came out back in November 2013.
The video is directed by Cherine Khoury and is tinted with cool hues of blue and purple. It depicts the central character of the video, a young woman, wandering around Beirut, interspersed with shots of the city and the band playing live. It all builds up to the young lady making a run for it and eventually dancing around. I see what they did there: the woman is a personification of the desperation and longing expressed in the lyrics, however she actually does reach a state of contentment in the end.
