Ghassan Rahbani Has An English Song And It’s Awful

Well, we cringed so hard we almost cried. This is almost worse than that time Haifa released an English song. We can’t deny that Rahbani is great at many things, however, we think he should leave the English songs aside.

I mean, I like watching football. It doesn’t mean I’m going to be a great premier league footballer.

Cutely set in the studio, with Rahbani singing and his guitarists playing along it is almost inevitable that this is a very cheesy love song, and even cheesier-ly (is that a word?) named “My Religion”. Pass us a bucket.

It isn’t long before a pretty girl comes on camera, laughing and posing “naturally” while Rahbani graces us with his “adorable” lyrics. And of course she looks around 20 years old, the perfect partner for 52 year old Ghassan.

Oh, and in case you can’t understand what he’s saying, some lyrics are kindly plastered upon the screen.
