It’s International Hummus Day today! What better way to celebrate than with a delicious bowl of hummus and some fresh Lebanese bread hot out of the oven? The delightfully fluffy “pillowy” kind of bread. You know what I’m talking about!
In no particular order, here’s a list of some of our favourite hummus dishes in Lebanon:

Whether you visit L’Os in Mansourieh or in their new restaurant in Mar Mikhael, L’Os en Ville, you’re bound to consume one of the most delicious hummus plates you’ve ever had! Pair that with their signature Baguette a L’Ail (Garlic Bread in Baguette).
2. Maison M

The Trio of Hummuses (is that even a word?) are a must try at Maison M, especially paired with clouds of freshly baked hot pita bread. Actually, order the entire menu! Check out the full review of this Lebanese restaurant here.
3. Semsom

Semsom holds the annual Hummus Games for a reason you know. They do indeed have some delicious hummus dishes and a hummus menu which is always undergoing some updates and twists. One thing’s certain though: the original classic Hummus dish is ALWAYS the best of the lot.

Nasma Beyrouth recently launched their new menu and it has a really interesting range of hummus dishes on offer! We all know that the classic simple hummus dish is the best, but you MUST try the Cauliflower Hummus at Nasma next time you’re there.

Seza happens to have one of the best hummus dishes in the country. We sometimes order it with Meat and pine nuts – yum!
Now can you please pass the hummus? I’m starving!
