10 Of The Prettiest Places To Watch The Sunset In Beirut

Sunset is Beirut’s prettiest time of day. Whether you’re at home on the balcony, at a cafe drinking coffee, or you stayed longer at the beach to witness it, you’re sure to be taken away by the rainbow of colors that burst in Beirut each time the sun sets. Here are our favorite places to bask in the beauty of the sun setting over Beirut.

Coop D’etat

A favorite rooftop for Beirutis who gather here for nighttime drinks and food, Coop D’etat is also a great place to head to a bit earlier on in the evening to catch a glimpse of the sunset.

Al Rawda Cafe & Restaurant

Simple as they come, Al Rawda Cafe is one of Beirut’s oldest hangout spots with a stunning view of the Lebanese sunset.

Four Seasons Beirut

For a taste of luxury while watching the sun set over Beirut, what better place than the Four Seasons terrace?

Killer Queen

A little bit of a drive away from central Beirut, the view from the rooftop at Killer Queen is worth it.

Sporting Club Beach

For a true Lebanese sunset, pass by Sporting Club and gaze at the distant fishermen while sipping on an ice cold lemonade, a turkish coffee, or an Almaza to start the night off right.

Iris

If you haven’t yet experienced a sunset at Iris, you really should. Iris hosts Sunset Drinks every day in summer. They don’t take reservations, so be sure to make it there early!

Seven Sisters

This is more of a place where you can sit in a nice setting while the sunset happens around you, rather than a place where you can directly gaze at the sun setting. Enjoy a drink among the funky set up of Seven Sisters, where you’re sure to welcome the night in style.

Boulevard Beirut

Building on the original techniques and recipes of older generations, Boulevard Beirut offers the same Lebanese delicacies that you grew up loving: from mezze, to salads, to perfectly char-grilled and seasoned barbecue meats. Here you can enjoy one of the best views of Beirut’s sunset while feeling right at home.

FABRK

Modern and chic, with couches and high tables to choose from, FABRK is the perfect place to admire Beirut’s sunset in a more urban atmosphere.

The Corniche

For those who love the simple things in life, why not keep it sweet and take a walk on the Corniche at sunset? We think that sunsets were made for walks on Beirut’s Corniche, and not the other way around!
