For football lovers around the country, this Saturday marks a very important match – the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus. Here are a couple of places you can enjoy the match in style around the country.

Please note that Buffalo Wings & Rings in Kaslik was at the top of our list, however they are already fully booked!

1. VOX Cinemas

What could be better than watching the game on a big screen. And we mean a really, really, really big screen. VOX Cinemas in City Center will be showing the match live in the theatre, be sure to book your tickets in advance.

2. Garten

Garten reopened for the season last Saturday, and boy were they back with a bang. This Saturday, Garten will be showing the game on a big screen in their exciting new setting. Make sure you call to find out more or to reserve a place.

3. Kahwet Beirut

Are you a Shisha person? Head down to this cafe in Beirut Waterfront and chose one of the sections or “streets” to watch the game in while you enjoy a plate of hummus and their to-die-for cheese kaak.

4. Koa Beach Resort

Koa (ex-Cyan) opened this season, and their pool parties balanced with unparalleled serenity hasn’t disappointed. There will be a big outdoor screen this Saturday, and open beer and wings to enjoy while watching the game for only $20. Make sure you call to reserve however, as space is limited.

5. Colonel Beer

Our favourite brewery in Batroun is broadcasting the match live, with a huge outdoor screen so you can enjoy the evening breeze while cheering your team on. Sip on some tailored beer, whether it’s passion fruit, or a black Irish, while channelling your inner sportsman. The atmosphere is set to please whether you’re a football fan, or simply whether your significant other is forcing you to come along and (try to) enjoy the match too.

6. Terrace

Feel like sushi and shisha? Never thought you can have this combination? Well we’re here to tell you that you can indeed have the best of both worlds, and enjoy the game at the same time. If you decide to sit in their outdoor seating areas, make sure to make the whole street hear your screaming cheers.

7. Mr Internationale

Scattered around the country is this chain of restaurants that bring you the very best of sports live. Open in Byblos, Horsh Tabet and now Hamra, you can enjoy a delicious feast while praying to the god of all sports your preferred team win.

Or, why not enjoy a drinking game while watching the match. Sounds pricey? Fear not as Locale offers happy hour every hour which means you can sip on your favourite cocktail (or down that mind-blowing shot) without worrying about your pockets.

9. Coop D’etat

Cheer on your team this Saturday in the open air rooftop in Gemmayzeh while you snack on their cheesy Nachos and drink them down with an Almaza, and in the half-times, where you’re nervously waiting for the score to even out, relish the amazing view that overlooks the city’s port.

10. Joz

This urban Lebanese diner located in Antelias is the perfect spot for some traditional food, while the urban vibe makes it the ideal place to come along with friends for some fun. With a big screen at hand to enjoy the match, why not try out this new hotspot while smoking on some shisha and munching on your favourite food.
