1. Decksonthebeach Season Closing with Yuksek
What: Closing this season of Decks is the first ever artist that was hosted at Sporting back in July 2011: Yuksek, preceded by Ayla. Dance your heart away this Friday for one last hurrah.
What: Indulge in this international cuisine experience this Friday as the Dhaba takes over. The menu will include Purni Delhi seekh kabab, Sirke Pyaaz, Mint Raita, Peas Pilau, Mango Dal, and many more appetizing dishes!
5. Discover Australia – wine, cheese, and nibbles night
What: Travel to Australia this weekend (not really) and enjoy tasting the best of local Australian wine paired with delicious cheese and nibbles in everyone’s favorite Beirut wine bar.
What: Dead Poets Society by Peter Weir is screening this weekend in Mar Mkhayel, so gather up your friends and watch Captain, O Captain, Robin Williams take on the role of English literature teacher, John Keating, as he guides his students using unorthodox teaching methods. After the movie, a 20 minute discussion will be held.
What: For the first time in Lebanon, Maskoon Fantastic Film Festival – Beirut and Istituto Italiano di Cultura bring one of the most renowned Italian film composers Fabio Frizzi and his band to Beirut for a special Cine-Concert.
What: Join the festivities at the Chateau with Chef Maroun Chedid’s specialty dishes, open wine and arak, and Djette playing in the background which adds up to what surely will be a lovely day. If you get there at 11 AM, there will be oenotouristic activities and wine tasting, including the tasting and sale of Château 2013 and Comte de M 2013 “en avant première”, the launch of “L’Atelier 2014”, and a cigar lounge at the heart of vines.
