Did we miss any of your favorite game shows? Let us know in the comment section!

1. Kel Mayle 3ayle

The Lebanese version of the American “Family Feud”, Kel Mayle 3ayle was a popular show on MTV in the late 90s. Samer Gharib, the presenter, would ask questions to two competing families and the winning family would get to complete with new contestants in the following episode, gathering money as they advance.

2. Ya Leil Ya 3ein

Premiering in 1999 on LBC, this was definitely Lebanon’s favorite musical game show. Two teams would partake in several musical challenges. The two hosts, Marianne Khlatt and Tony Aboujaoude provided banter and celebrity impressions to keep audiences entertained all night.

3. Hella w Htalla

Toni Baroud and Karen Der Kaloustian presented this iconic adventure show where teams would complete challenges in an attempt to “occupy” the fortress. “Felindra, ras el nemer”.

4. Btekhsar Iza Ma Btel3ab

Presented by the king of Lebanese game shows Tony Khalife alongside Rima Karkafi, this was one of the first game shows on Lebanese television. Airing during Ramadan of 1997, it set the tone for many call-in game shows to come.

5. Men Sa Yarba7 Al Malyoun

The Arab version of the iconic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, presented by none other than George Kurdahi. Contestants played for the prize of one million Saudi riyals ($266,000). “Jawab niha2i?”

6. Ya ‘Atel Ya Ma’tool

Presented by the political host Marcel Ghanem, this show is based on the American game show Greed in which contestants answer a series of multiple-choice questions for a potential prize of up to half a million dollars.

7. Al 7alaqa Al Ad3af

The Weakest Link, presented by the intense and entertaining Rita Khoury on Future TV, consisted of eight contestants answering questions then voting each other off based on who broke the winning streak. Good times.

8. Lameen al Malayeen

Presented by the charismatic Serge Zarka on MTV. Questions were asked and millions were dished out!
