21 Things All LAU Beirut Students Will Relate To
The LAU struggle is real.
1. There is nothing scarier than upper gate at 12 PM.
2. You’ve never read an email by Raed Mohsen.
3. You only get asked for your ID when you haven’t had the time to get a new one.
4. Classes at the lowest floor of fine arts is where dreams go to die.
5. Or classes at the top of Irwin.
6. There’s always an annoying couple at the library.
7. Student elections never change anything but are taken way too seriously.
8. BB is more of a fashion runway than a school.
9. But the toilets in BB are always the cleanest for some reason.
10. There’s always a very loud group of men at BB, usually holding calculators and arguing over politics or an exam.
11. Upper gate’s kaake and coffee is what gets you up for your early classes.

13. There’s always weirdly-dressed barefoot people at the fine arts stairs.
14. We all unanimously hate the mean cashier who doesn’t smile.

16. You dream of a day when the wifi actually works all over campus.
17. You never feel like you belong to LAU more than when there are free food events.
18. Design students are always hilarious in winter, trying to save their projects from the rain.
19. The free gym will always make you feel guilty about your health.
