The Best Breakfast Spots In Beirut

If you’re a breakfast person, this one’s for you. Here is where you can indulge in the best breakfasts that Beirut has to offer, to make sure you start your day off on the right foot.

Eat Sunshine

This organic eatery in Monot changes its menu daily, but no matter what the change is, it’s always delicious. We recommend you try their avocado toast or their Acai bowl for a perfectly fresh start to your day.

El Denye Hek

For a classic Lebanese breakfast done right, look no further than El Denye Hek. All of your favorite breakfast mezze are prepared to perfection at this Mar Mikhael spot.

Les Malins

Their salmon tartine is to die for, and it’s the perfect breakfast if you’re looking to try something new. Cream cheese layered on French sourdough bread, topped with smoky Scottish salmon, radish, and a green salad. If you’re at their ABC Verdun branch, this is the ideal boost you’ll need to get right back to shopping!

Crunchy Flakes

Mix and match your favorite cereals in one magical bowl at Crunchy Flakes. You can even add chocolate milk instead of regular milk if you’re looking to really spoil yourself for breakfast!

Casper & Gambini’s

With an array of healthy breakfast choices to choose from, we especially love their healthy Avocado Pumpernickel topped with poached eggs. If you’d like something lighter, try one of their granola yogurt bowls.

Breakfast Barn

A haven of healthy breakfast choices, Breakfast Barn allows you to make your own superfood bowl with the freshest ingredients to kickstart your day. They also serve delicious classic breakfast meals, like the avocado and egg toast pictured above.

Za’atar w Zeit

Lebanon’s most notorious food chain, Za’atar w Zeit is a great place to go for breakfast. If you’re on the go, or have some time to dine in, try one of their specialty breakfast wraps for a classic Lebanese morning. Their ‘wake up combo’ is complete with eggs, a man’oushe of your choice, a side of vegetables and juice, for only 15,000 LL.

The Beazbee

You can try the Full English Breakfast the which comes with beans, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, and bacon. Their Eggs Benedict Royale is out of this world – it’s poached eggs on top of English muffins, topped with smoked salmon and Hollandaise sauce.

Kalei Coffee co.

Kalei makes a crazy-good Avocado toast. If you’re not into the avocado craze, try one of their bowls of granola chunks and red berries to start your morning with a fresh, fruity crunch. While you’re there, you must also try their delicious coffee. Our favorite is the cortado – two shots of espresso mixed with warm milk, yes please!

De Prague

Though their breakfast menu is humble, it is hearty. Their omelets are cooked to perfection. Our favorite is the ham and mushroom omelet with a side of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

Bread Republic

Their bread is baked fresh on the daily, and their breakfast menu is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. Our suggestion? King George’s Feast – complete with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grilled tomatoes and onion. Breakfast fit for a king!
