5 Winter Wonderlands You Can Visit In Lebanon This Year

Christmas is fast approaching, and though we may not have a Winter Wonderland like London’s, Lebanon has a lot to offer when it comes to getting in the festive Christmas mood. Here are some Lebanese Winter Wonderlands, both manmade and natural, where you can immerse yourself in the festive season this year.

1. The Cedars

Get lost in the snow and the Cedars of Lebanon this winter. Drive up to the Cedars for a bright white day of the truest form of winter that the country has to offer.

2. Downtown Beirut

Stroll through Downtown Beirut for a taste of Christmas glory. The lights are pretty, the shops are lit to perfection, and the shops are calling your name!

3. Jezzine

Tall and bright, Jezzine’s Christmas tree is worth the drive – even if just to catch a glimpse of this tall white beauty.

4. Byblos

The decorations in Byblos are stunning this year. Grab a bite, take a walk in the old Souks, all the while among some of Lebanon’s most historic archaeological sites side-by-side with some of the most stunning Christmas decorations the country has to offer.

5. Maghdouche

For a full-on Winter Wonderland vibe, look no further than Maghdouche. You’ll feel like you’re in the North Pole for a second once you catch a glimpse of this year’s decorations.
