Shakira To Perform Live In Lebanon This Summer

This summer is looking pretty good so far! We’ve already told you that The Chainsmokers and James Arthur are coming to town in the coming months, and there’s one more big name to add to that list.

Lebanon’s very own Shakira will be gracing the Cedars International Festival (CIF) in Lebanon on July 13.

With14 Grammys under her belt, a vivacious voice, and unmatched dance moves, Shakira is sure to be the perfect addition to your summer.

The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ superstar was born in Colombia to a Lebanese father, and has since been a consistent placeholder on the top music charts around the world.

She was the voice behind the FIFA World Cup’s official anthem for 2011, ‘Waka Waka,’ and we’re sure to go loco at her upcoming concert in just a couple of months.

She’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Rihanna and Beyonce. Some of her other most famous tunes include her breakout single ‘Whenever, Wherever,’ ‘She Wolf,’ ‘Gypsy,’ ‘Underneath Your Clothes,’ ‘Can’t Remember to Forget You,’ and ‘Beautiful Liar.’

We can’t wait to sing along – and maybe we won’t be able to dance as well as she does but, who cares?
