Eat Your Way Around Lebanon: Famous Dishes From Each Area

Tripoli: the source of the most tantalizing Lebanese sweets from the halawat al jeben to halawat al riz, and of course we can’t forget about the lahm b3ajeen flavored with pomegranate molasses and yogurt.



6. Zahle’s mezze


Zahle, known as Bekaa’s bride, is distinguished by providing the best and most delicious types of Lebanese mezze created in Zahle and then spread all over Lebanon – especially fattoush!


7. Bekaa’s dairy products


Bekaa is known for the producing various dairy derivatives, like yogurt and cheese of all kinds. We can almost smell the arishe and honey with the baked mulberry bread just by looking at this picture. One of the best breakfasts you can have in Lebanon!
