Swimming, Boating, And Sun: Trip To Palm Islands This Weekend

This Sunday, August 26 local outdoor geeks Lebanese Nature Addicts are planning a really special outing for people of all ages! It’s your chance to cash in on all the sun and fun the three uninhabited Mediterranean islands of the Palm Island Nature Reserve have to offer.


Attendees will meet near City Mall at 8:00 AM where a bus will transport you to Tripoli. Your day will start by visiting the picturesque abandoned train station in al-Mina.


You will then get on boats and head towards the three main islands: Sananeh, Ramkeen, and Palm Island. Enjoy 3-hours of swimming, picnics, and fun at the largest of the islands (Palm Island).


The cost of this day trip is 50,000 L.L which includes transportation to and from the meeting point, breakfast, the private boat ride, and the guided trip).
