The local coffee shop and micro-roastery quickly garnered a loyal fan-base when they first set up shop in Mar Mikhael. Their cozy garden quickly became the perfect addition to the renowned street of hidden gems.
Now on Mansour Jurdak street in Ras Beirut, their new location is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in a stunning house that dates back to the Ottoman period, the new Kalei is here to preserve this beauty of a home.
While the Mar Mikhael roastery boasts more of an industrial feel, the new location emits an aura of cultural and historical authenticity. Aesthetically gorgeous on the outside and incredibly cozy on the inside, the new spot is a must-visit.
You can choose to snuggle up in the corner on a table-for-two for a cute romantic coffee date, or make yourself comfortable on the hammock chairs and take in the truly spectacular architecture of the house.
You can also take over one of the large tables to catch up with your group of friends or get to work solo.
No matter where you grab a seat, you’re in for a treat. Not only is Kalei boasting a new location, but they’re also expanding their menu with new items and new coffee flavors.
