6 Epic Waterfalls To Visit This Summer In Lebanon

It’s adventure season! So we rounded a list of waterfalls that will make your Herbal Essences ad fantasy a reality.

Make sure you pack a swimsuit and be the first to jump in when it’s possible (of course). Oh, and don’t forget that battikha to cool in the cold waters!

1. Baatara


One of the country’s breathtaking landmarks, Baatara waterfall in Tannourine WOWs tourists and locals alike every time.

2. Baakline


A classic choice for a scenic pique-nique by the river. Bonus points: there’s no crazy hike involved to get there!

3. Chouwen


One of Lebanon’s most beautiful natural attractions, Chouwen will always be the first choice to channel the inner Tarzan in you. Seriously, there’s a rope for all the crazy jumps and flips you have in mind.

4. Afqa


Something out of paradise, this wonder-fall (pun intended) will make you want to meditate for a few minutes, or at least forget your phone for a good while.

5. Jezzine


Among the tallest in the world, Jezzine’s waterfall is a sight to see. The sound of its gushing water resonates in neighboring areas, so let it lead you to this piece of water heaven.


6. Kfarhelda


Here’s the plan: you’ll lunch at neighboring lovely Douma, then visit this picture-perfect site, or vice versa. This waterfall will put the most complex rain shower to shame, we warned you!
