Otaku Con 2019: Lebanon’s Annual Pop Culture Convention Returns

Don’t miss out on Otaku Con 2019, happening on Sunday July 7 at Event Hill Dbayeh, for a memorable experience celebrating the traditional Japanese and pop culture scene in Lebanon.
Get the chance to engage in an assortment of activities, gaming tournaments, workshops, and competitions that cover all-things geeky and pop culture.
Otaku Con will incorporate multiple discussion panels that span a wide range of intriguing topics.
The voice over and acting discussion panel features prominent actors, directors, voice actors, and writers such as Ms. Joumana Al Zonji, Mr. Jihad Al Atrash, and Mr. Abdo Hakim. Also, the artist panel features the “First Lebanese Woman Cartoonist Recruited by Disney”, Ms. Dahlia Khodor, as well famous and inspirational artist and winner of national and international contests Mr. Ivan Debs.
Otaku Con 2019 will also be welcoming “The Dreamers” theater group led by professional theater actress Eiko Minami, special effects makeup artist Samantha Ayoub (Sam SFX), and FoReal Animeband, among others.
With all these big names in mind, Otaku Con 2019 will give local manga and comic artists and authors, game developers, cosplayers, musicians, and other pop culture related talents the perfect international exposure they seek.
