One of Hollywood’s most dazzling leading actresses, Salma Hayek took to Instagram last night with a heartwarming picture to wish her beloved father, Sami Hayek Dominguez, a happy birthday.


In the caption, she also took the time to thank him for her “Lebanese genes”, writing: “Thank you for those Lebanese genes بابا !” and “Gracias por esos genes libaneses papà”.

We’re not entirely sure if Salma’s sentiment towards her Lebanese genes is related to our beautiful revolution, but we’d like to believe so.
