Happening Now: Protestors Bang Pots On Baabda Road To Make Their Voices Heard
1:00 PM Beirut Protestors are currently gathered on Hazmieh highway trying to make their way to the Baabda presidential palace.
With army and security forces currently blocking all access points to the presidential palace and Baabda, protestors are banging on pots to make their voices heard.
The call for protest at the presidential palace came after many were insulted by President Aoun’s televised interview during which he said something to the effect of, “if [those protesting] don’t like anybody, let them emigrate”.
