Two People Died After Allegedly Crashing Into Roadblocks On Jiyye Highway
A horrifying accident took place on the morning of Monday November 25 on Lebanon’s Jiyyeh highway. Hussein Chalhoub, accompanied by his daughter and sister-in-law, allegedly hit a roadblock with their car, swerving and crashing into the side of the road. The car then lit on fire upon impact.
Meanwhile, protestors clarified that their roadblock was 500 meters away from the site of the accident. The photo embedded below shows the distance.
Chalhoub and his sister-in-law died at the scene. Below is a video of his daughter recounting the story. May their souls rest in peace.
