The Lebanese Revolution Now Has Its Own Newspaper

At a time when most newspapers in the country are either struggling to sustain themselves or have completely shut down their print operations, a new self-sufficient paper was born in the name of the Lebanese revolution.

Founded by a group of volunteering editors, “October 17” was created to become the voice of a generation that will no longer be silenced.

The newspaper covers everything related to the revolution, with an assortment of opinion pieces, entertainment segments, and so much more.

Now before anyone starts coming up with – crazy – conspiracy theories about the paper’s funding, the editorial board explained in full transparency that they used money collected from the donation boxes to bring “October 17” to life.

The first issue of October 17 is currently being distributed among protestors in central protest sites like Riad El Soloh, Martyrs’ Square, and in front of BDL. It will also be complemented with a website, still under construction.

So, who wants a copy?
