Day 90 Brings Back Protests, Road Blocks Across Lebanon

It’s been 90 days since the Lebanese revolution kicked off on October 17, 2019, and the situation has yet to improve.

Price inflation, businesses closing down, humiliating capital control measures at banks, hospitals incapable of treating patients, poverty and hunger on the rise, threats of an internet shutdown, and so much more.

While calls for protests had initially been set for Sunday, it seems the terrible conditions had become unbearable. As of this morning, several roads have been blocked, with people taking to the streets to protest the stalling of forming a government while the country crumbles.
