LAUMC-Rizk Hospital Opens Its Doors To Uninsured Lebanese Citizens
Amazing initiative!
In light of the economic crisis and its direct and detrimental impact on the declining healthcare sector in the country, the Lebanese American University Medical Center-Rizk Hospital has launched a much-needed “Act of Compassion” campaign.
The hospital has announced that it will open its doors to all Lebanese citizens without national social security coverage or a medical insurance policy for a generic checkup. The clinic visit fee will be 10,000 LL paid at the time of the consultation, but does not include laboratory, medication, or X-ray fees, which may come at an additional cost.
LAUMC-RH will be welcoming patients at its Primary Care Outpatient Dispensary (OPD) every Saturday, starting February 1, 2020.
Make sure you book your appointment ahead of time on 01/200800 ext. 542, and bring your Lebanese ID to the appointment.
And spread the word!
