In an effort to safeguard patients’ health and minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine at the
Lebanese American University and the
Lebanese American University Medical Center Rizk Hospital have launched a free-of-charge Coronavirus Telecare clinic administered and run by physicians under the supervision of the Division of Infectious Disease.
This virtual clinic will run throughout the pandemic and will be phased out as the public health emergency subsides. The clinic will effectively put patients in contact with doctors
free of charge in order for them to ask questions or seek help relating to COVID-19. This is particularly useful considering the fact that many people feel as though they have contracted the virus, but do not want to risk being exposed at a hospital.
They have also prepared a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions related to the pandemic. If you want to consult with any physician, you can do it
here.
