Craving some great local food, open air spaces, and a little bit of greenery? Head to Tawlet Beit el Qamar in Chouf’s picturesque town of Deir el Qamar.



Now open and ready to serve you (all the while abiding by the social distancing restrictions), this Tawlet project is a unique experience that is a must-try for anyone who needs an escape from the city. With colorful outdoor chairs and a green patch for the kids (and pups!) to run on, the place boasts a calming and serene atmosphere.



Their menu includes a wide variety of freshly made Lebanese dishes, salads, appetizers, desserts, and entrees is ready to be devoured by visitors once again every day from 9 AM till 7 PM with their traditional a-la-carte menu and a daily plat-du-jour!


Check them out, they’re a great local initiative that helps female chefs from remote areas. Be sure to call for reservations in advance, and please note that their usual buffet is not available for the time being.
