EDL Puts Up New Barriers, More Electricity Cuts To Come?

Amid an already chaotic electricity schedule in the country, Lebanese people are anticipating more power cuts as Electricité du Liban surrounds itself with new barriers.

Editorial Purpose: We are sharing this piece of content to keep you in the loop on the latest happenings in the country.

The company has recently put up barbed wire to protect its premises after continuous attempts by protestors to barge inside. This comes after extremely irregular power cuts several times a day in Beirut and across the country.

Do you think EDL’s new barriers are an indication that more power cuts are coming our way?
