Minister of Information Seen Crying At Supermarket: “What Are We Waiting For?”
An extremely confusing thing happened recently with Lebanon’s Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad.
Editorial Purpose: We are sharing this piece of content to give a voice to our people and possibly mobilize change.
First came this odd tweet which basically stated that she had been busy at work for ~months~ and just now was able to “hit the streets” (????) where she found out that prices are rising (!!!) and the people are hungry (!!!!!).
Okay, then she was captured on tape by Al Jadeed during a supermarket tour wherein she can be seen gently weeping and asking, “What are we waiting for?”
WHO.IS.WE?
Do you mean what you as part of the government is waiting for to start passing real reforms? Or what are WE the people waiting for before we topple this entire ponzi scheme to the ground? Are you trying to reach your fellow ministers? Would you like us to get their numbers for you?
