Baalbeck’s “Sound Of Resilience” Concert: Snippets And Reactions

Last night, Lebanon celebrated its annual music festival in the ancient city of Baalbeck without an audience for the very first time. The concert was aired on local and regional TV stations and live-streamed on social media, breaking physical barriers to reach every home and screen.

Editorial Purpose: We are sharing this piece of content to spread some good energy and shed light on great local initiatives.

Featuring 150 musicians and singers, the concert was dubbed “an act of cultural resilience” in light of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the country’s unprecedented economic meltdown.

While the concert may not have been the solution we need in the meantime, but it was certainly beautiful to watch.
