Goodbye To Joe Bou Saab, The Tenth Firefighter Who Was Sent To His Death
On Wednesday August 19th, the body of Joe Bou Saab was found 15 days after the explosion that rocked Beirut.
Bou Saab was one of the ten firefighters that had been effectively sent to their death when they were asked to put out a fire at Beirut’s port, without being told that Hangar 12 contained explosive materials.
Today, Joe’s friends and family bid him farewell and thank him for his service. In the hopes that someone is held accountable for his untimely death.
