St. George Hospital Partially Re-Operating After Being Badly Damaged In Beirut Blast

After the catastrophic explosion that ripped through Beirut killing nearly 200 people and leaving thousands homeless, many hospitals in damaged areas were completely demolished in the aftermath.

One such hospital, St. George Hospital in Rmeil was incapable of operating due to the severity of the destruction to their building. Through the will of their amazing staff and the generous donors, the hospital was able to resume working only 20 days after the blast and their laboratory, radiology, and diagnostics facilities are all operational.

Needless to say, while functional, the hospital is still quite damaged and needs an estimated forty million dollars to get back in tip top shape. If you are able to help them get back on their feet, click here.
