Annahar English To Shut Down Due To Economic Crisis

Local publication Annahar has announced the suspension of their english section due to the ongoing economic and financial crisis in Lebanon.

The section was first launched back in 2015, and has covered a medley of topics of social, political, and economical natures.

The newspaper announced the news in an article saying, “[t]o the loyal readers and supporters of Annahar’s English Edition this is an official announcement that the English page will cease publication as of Monday for budgetary reasons.” Adding, “the future has yet to be written – but never loose hope and faith better times are ahead for all our homeland!”
