Niagara Falls To Light Up In Lebanon’s Colors For Independence Day

In a wonderful gesture to honor Lebanon and its people, the exquisite Niagara Falls will be lighting up in Lebanon’s national colors for Independence Day this year.

Lebanon in Niagara is a must-see event commemorating Lebanon on its 77th Independence Day.

For the first time in history, one of the seven wonders of the world will be dressed in Lebanon’s vibrant shades of red, green, and white.

“This event is in memory of Lebanon’s triumphs, defeats, and the journey ahead to ensuring a prosperous Lebanon,” wrote Instagram page Lebanese in Canada. “Let it be known that Canada stands by Lebanon and the Lebanese diaspora,” they continued.

Lebanese residents in Canada will have the chance to witness the event live. As for Lebanese in their home country and all over the world, you can simply tune in virtually via Niagara Falls Earth Cam. The event will also be streamed on both their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Date and time: Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2:00 AM GMT.

This lovely initiative was organized by Gregoire Bostajian, Honorary Consul of Lebanon in Toronto, with the support of the Lebanese Embassy in Canada and in collaboration with community volunteers.
