Assi El Hallani Gets Backlash Over Tweet About His Daughter
The Hallani family seems to enjoy bad publicity, as they just can’t seem to get enough of it.
Lebanese singer Assi El Hallani tweeted a picture of him and his daughter, saying that he misses being able to hug her, but he was not ready for the response.
What he thought was a heartwarming father-daughter moment turned out to be another PR disaster for the artist, as people were quick to tell him what they really thought:
Most recently, his son found himself under social media fire after posting a photo of himself receiving the COVID-19 vaccine in Dubai after he had hosted a New Year’s party during which people fell ill. Considering the fact that Assi was also one of the many celebrities who hosted a party on New Year’s Eve, which resulted in a massive spike in Coronavirus cases, the post was deemed very insensitive and hypocritical on his part. Maybe we should expect another classic Assi blocking spree? Stay tuned.
