Price Of Bread Increases Again As Of Today
Less than one month ago, the price of a bag of bread increased from 2,000 LL to 2,250 LL for a standard bag. Today, the price hikes up another 250 LL, settling at 2,500 LL.
This comes amid Lebanon’s most horrific economic and financial crisis, one that has left approximately 50% of people below the poverty line. It also coincides with Lebanon’s strictest lockdown, a measure that has left many penniless wondering how they can feed their families.
Our hearts are with everyone struggling to feed their families with no help from an incompetent government.

The same week people hit the streets saying they’re hungry and suffocating under a harsh lockdown, the Lebanese government announces that they’re raising prices on bread.
