Lebanese Man Fighting COVID Asks For Shawarma In The ICU
A hilarious message posted by a medical intern on Twitter has given us a much needed giggle during these trying times.
After being intubated and in the ICU for around a month, a patient passed his doctors a very important note asking for…you guessed it, shawarma djej or, chicken shawarma!
Our love and respect to the amazing medical teams at the heart of this battle. We are wishing everyone who is currently ill a speedy recovery.
Yesterday, we extubated an ICU patient who has been intubated for about a month due to COVID. Today, being on BiPAP, there was only one thing he needed to express, through writing:
