Instagram Page Exposes Those Breaking Lockdown Restrictions
Nearly a year into the pandemic and some people are still unable to understand simple social distancing measures and lockdown restrictions. Thankfully, novelcorona19 is working on not only spreading awareness about COVID-19 vaccines and the importance of lockdown, but also exposing individuals who are not abiding by the restrictions and are putting us all at risk and delaying our progress.
Although the page constantly tags the Lebanese ISF in their posts, there seems to be no apparent action taken against those who are violating lockdown restrictions. With over 3,600 deaths, nearly 1,000 critical cases, and over 20% local positivity rate, the pandemic is taking a heavy toll on Lebanon. This will only continue, or even worsen, if such idiocy and irresponsibility remains.
Thank you to the frontliners and everyone abiding by basic social distancing measures, wearing their masks, and caring for the wellbeing of the community.
As for the people who are not doing so, let’s see what happens when you can’t find an ICU bed after contracting the virus.
